This time I'll talk about Kayak Course for STAR 1 stage. Kayak is another thing that interest me. Last few days, 2 friends (Mr. Eris and Mr. Kamalul) of mine and me was organised a short course STAR 1 in kayak for some students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato' Ahmad Maher, Kota Bharu. This course in under MASCA ( Malaysia Canoe Sport Association ) and recognised by Kementerian Belia dan Sukan and accepted at international level.
For your acknowledgement, the curicullum at this level is basic to know about kayak such as the history and the rising of this sport, kayak terminology, skills in paddling, capsize and towing and slap for support low recovery and bla-bla-bla... to certified as STAR 1 certificate holder, they have to score in theory test and practical test... CONGRATULATION.... everyone make it great. Welcome aboard in MASCA family. Actually I've a question to you guys, what make kayak and kenu different ?...
